When her head goes under the water everything changes and when she emerges from the water she's no longer in her bath, she's in the arms of a Gargoyle in a new world. Thoren has been waiting for his mate but now Kaia has to decide if she's willing to give up the life she knew for one she's never known.
This was such a fun, cute, spicy, cozy read and as the author says, "We are just here to be cozy and watch them fall in love". This story is completely character driven and was such a great palate cleanser between some of the darker romance books or series I tend to read.
As the title suggests the FMC Kaia falls through a portal, naked of course, and finds herself in a new world with a silver fox gargoyle named Thoren. The relationship between these two is just adorable and their interactions had me giggling like a schoolgirl. Kaia is a plus size FMC and when she has her moments of doubt Thoren is there making sure she knows just how obsessed with her he is.
There is something just so endearing about these two and Thoren's family members who all embrace Kaia. While this is Dana Isaly's first monster romance I hope there are more stories to come from this world and it's fated mates.
